Better Than Antibiotics

Several years ago, a patient came in with chronic back pain. His pain doctor had attempted to install electrical nerve stimulator device in his back, however, he had to get it removed because due to his diabetes, the cut on his back wouldn’t heal even after several months. When I examined his back, he had a 5 inch cut over his spine that was taped up and woozing with fluid. The dressing has to be changed a few times a day, and now, he’s dealing with not just with chronic back pain, but also with persistent wound that wouldn’t heal.

Now I would have certainly recommended some PRP and other regenerative therapies with him but this is before I started practicing regenerative medicine. I really couldn’t do much for his back pain because of this big cut, I couldn’t manipulate it chiropractically, put him on decompression therapy, really his options were very limited. I informed him that the wound has to be healed first before I can do any therapies or treatment and recommended that he goes and pick up some colloidal silver and Manuka honey. “Clean the wound with colloidal silver when you change the dressing and apply a thin layer of the honey. Try that.”

The patient returned a few months later without an appointment. He said he stopped by to show me the wound, he proudly lifted his shirt to show me his back. To my surprise the wound has mostly been healed beautifully and he only had a faint scar. He said he religiously applied colloidal silver and the honey. He was finally able to start treatment for his back pain as well.

The ancients have known that silver has antibiotic property. We all have the expression “born with silver spoon his his mouth.” Wealthy people who could afford silver fed their babies with silver spoon to ward off infections and diseases. With modern technology, there are solutions that can be bought (or home made) with silver particles in it that has potent antiviral, antibiotics and antifungal properties. I have used this silver solution as disinfectants, I use silver creams for minor cuts, skin irritations, mosquito bites, zits, and just about have this silver cream in every corner of my house. It also works well on my dog’s ear infections as well, eye irrtiation, and it has been my go to remedy for many years.

Manuka honey is a super honey that comes from New Zealand, and it is an antibiotics powerhouse. It’s active ingradient, Methylglyoxal, or MGO, is known for it’s antibiotic property for many years. With the combination of the colloidal silver and Manuka honey, I have healed many cases of persistent wounds.

Recently a friend messaged me saying she’s developed cellulitis infection on her stomach after an abdominal procedure. She’s been on antibiotics therapy for days with little improvement and was getting frustrated from the itching and the irritation.
